The Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF) is an independent non-profit foundation based in Madison, Wisconsin. Established in 1925, it serves as the designated technology transfer organization for the University of Wisconsin–Madison. WARF partners with UW-Madison research on invention disclosures and inventions licensing to patent emerging technologies and invest in science-based startups.
