Voodoo Ventures, LLC is an internet incubator based in New Orleans, LA. The company was founded by [Chris Schultz](http://www.crunchbase.com/person/chris-schultz) in 2003 to develop and launch start up companies. Since 2003 Voodoo Ventures has provided seed capital for three companies: [Huckabuck, Inc](http://www.crunchbase.com/organization/huckabuck-com), [siteMighty, Inc](http://www.crunchbase.com/organization/sitemighty-inc) and [Flatsourcing, Inc](http://www.crunchbase.com/organization/flatsourcing). Mr. Schultz founded Voodoo Ventures after the acquisition of his first company, [Destination VIP, Inc](http://www.crunchbase.com/organization/destination-vip-inc) a destination management company, by Las Vegas-based Vegas Hot Spots, LLC. Voodoo Ventures is very active in working with Louisiana entrepreneurs and provides informal consulting and mentoring programs currently. Will Donaldson joined Voodoo Ventures in July 2007 as an intern and in September 2008 became an Analyst with the company. Voodoo Ventures plans to serve as an incubator for Internet start ups in the Gulf South, providing seed capital and working to develop business plans, business models, and develop software prototypes. It will then connect these companies with angel investors and VC firms in Louisiana.
