South East Angels is a group of Brighton angel investors backing ambitious founders to help build outlier companies. South East Angels brings together high-net worth individuals based in Brighton and surrounding areas, their members have a track record as successful entrepreneurs themselves in various industries. SEA's prime objective is to invest in SEIS/EIS qualified companies with the purpose of achieving successful growth for the businesses over five years until exit. Such investments will normally require the raising of finance varying from £50k to £1m from their members with the potential of being offered a board seat at the company. South East Angels has been formed together with serial entrepreneurs and investors, with the aim of filling the equity gap for startups in the South East of the UK. They are deeply connected in the South East startup ecosystem and passionate about seeing ambitious individuals, exciting innovations, and great cities flourish.
