Shanghai Zhongdian Tou (上海中电投) refers to the Shanghai-based investment arm of State Power Investment Corporation (SPIC). Public records show that it operates through vehicles such as “Shanghai Zhongdian Tou Ronghe Equity Investment Fund” and other CPI-Ronghe entities. Founded in 2015, the group makes equity and asset-management investments in the energy and clean-power sectors and is ultimately backed by SPIC, one of China’s largest state-owned electricity conglomerates.
