Sequoia China Seed (also referred to as Sequoia Capital China Seed Fund) is a seed-stage venture capital vehicle managed by Sequoia Capital’s China franchise, which has since re-branded as HongShan (HSG). Established in 2018 and headquartered in Beijing, the fund backs very early-stage companies across China, with a focus on information-technology, software and education-technology sectors.
