SBXi Fund is an early–stage venture capital vehicle headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The fund focuses on backing companies that have at least one MIT alumnus on the founding team, writing initial equity checks and co-investing alongside a lead investor. SBXi is jointly sponsored by several established firms such as Accel, Polaris Partners, General Catalyst, Pillar and others, giving portfolio companies access to an extensive network of MIT-affiliated entrepreneurs and investors.
