REI Path Ahead Ventures is the corporate venture capital arm of REI Co-op, launched in 2021. It focuses on supporting startups owned and led by Black, Indigenous, Latina/o/x, and Asian American and Pacific Islander entrepreneurs. The initiative is dedicated to advancing diversity in the outdoor industry by providing full-spectrum support and a $30 million fund for early-stage companies.
