NIF Ventures is the venture capital and private equity arm of the Daiwa Securities Group. It specializes in early- and later-stage investments. The firm was established in Tokyo in 1982 and has invested in more than 1,560 private companies and assisted more than 460 investees with IPOs. It currently manages approximately $1 billion in funds globally for its shareholders and limited partners.
