NEL Fund Managers Limited, is an independent fund management company which provides financial products to small and medium-sized businesses based in the North East of England. Originally set up in 1989 to provide unsecured loan funding to regional businesses, NEL is the region’s most active business investor and has since managed eleven funds with a combined value of over £90m, including the new £23m Finance for Business North East Growth Fund. We have invested in over 200 regional companies in the last five years alone, with hundreds of companies and thousands of jobs in every part of the region being supported.
