National Artificial Intelligence Industry Investment Fund is a Chinese, state-backed investment vehicle incorporated in Shanghai to finance and accelerate companies working in artificial-intelligence–related industries. Launched with capital of roughly RMB 60 billion (about US $8 billion), the fund provides equity financing and strategic support to domestic AI businesses in order to advance China’s national AI development goals.
