Nat Friedman is an American technology executive and investor. He served as CEO of GitHub from 2018 to 2021 and was formerly chairman of the GNOME Foundation. Friedman is the Founder and Managing Partner of NFDG Ventures, as well as a co-founder of AI Grant and California YIMBY. As an angel investor he has built a broad portfolio of early-stage technology companies.
