Namita Thapar is an Indian angel investor best known as a “shark” on Shark Tank India, where she has invested in more than 100 startups. Professionally, she serves as Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals, a large Mumbai-based pharmaceutical company founded by her family. Thapar is a Chartered Accountant and holds an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
