Hibernia Management and Development Company Ltd. (HMDC) operates the Hibernia offshore oil production platform located in the Jeanne d’Arc Basin, about 315 km off the coast of Newfoundland and Labrador. The company oversees development, production and marketing of crude oil from the Hibernia field and is owned by a consortium that includes ExxonMobil, Chevron and Suncor Energy.
