General Growth Properties (GGP) was an American commercial real estate company and one of the largest shopping mall operators in the United States. It operated as a self-managed real estate investment trust (REIT) with ownership interests in numerous regional shopping malls across the country. In 2018, GGP was acquired by Brookfield Property Partners.
