Fondo Emprender is an entrepreneur/seed-capital fund in Colombia administered by the public entity SENA since 2002. It provides “capital semilla” (seed capital) to entrepreneurs to create companies and supports innovative and sustainable business proposals. According to SENA (as cited), it has administered more than 450 billion Colombian pesos and supported almost 6,000 companies.
