The Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) was a ministerial department of the United Kingdom Government, responsible for business, industrial strategy, science, innovation, energy, and climate change. It existed from July 2016 until 2023 when it was split into the Department for Business and Trade, the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, and others.
