Maison Chancerelle, owner of the Connétable brand, is a French family-owned seafood canning company based in Douarnenez, Brittany. Founded in 1853, it is reputed to be the world’s oldest sardine cannery still in operation and produces a range of premium canned fish products sold under several brands, most notably Connétable.
