Biotope (also referred to as “biotope by VIB” or “Biotope Ventures”) is an early-stage Belgian incubator and investor launched in 2022 by the life-sciences research institute VIB. The program backs agri-food and health biotech startups that aim to create a positive impact on planetary health, providing both incubation support and initial capital during the earliest stages of company formation.
