BCR Seed Starter is the corporate venture capital arm of Romanian bank Banca Comercială Română (BCR). According to the press release, it will be operational from January 2024 and plans to deploy EUR 5 million over five years to back technology-focused Romanian start-ups, typically at the seed stage. The program offers both funding and support to early-stage companies during their go-to-market phase.
