Banca Cívica, S.A. was a Spanish bank formed as a result of the European debt crisis. It was created by the merger of three Spanish savings banks: Caja Navarra, CajaCanarias, and Caja de Burgos. The bank offered a range of financial services including retail, commercial, and private banking, as well as asset management. Banca Cívica was known for its unique model of civic banking, where customers were considered 'citizens' and the bank disclosed its earnings to them. In 2012, Banca Cívica merged with CaixaBank.
