Acorn Ventures is an early-stage investment fund based in Bellevue, Washington. Acorn was founded by Rufus W. Lumry in 1991 after his retirement as EVP/CFO of McCaw Cellular Communications (now AT&T Wireless). Its mission is to find, fund and nurture early-stage companies that present extraordinary opportunities to make industry-changing leaps in technology and applications.
